Whats a really good tanning lotion for tanning salons?

I want to get really dark and fast, not orange, like a brown tan. I like tingle lotions, so if anyone knows one thats really good, please let me know!Whats a really good tanning lotion for tanning salons?
The tanning salon should have some tanning lotions already there that you can buy. I bought one with carrot oil in and it made me brown quickly and it makes you smell really nice aswell :) So I suggest any lotion with carrot oil in

Good luck with getting brownWhats a really good tanning lotion for tanning salons?
i know this was awhile ago that you posted this....i like tingles as well and i work at a tanning salon so ive tried alot of them.. If you like being really freakin hot try ';hot to trot'; sizzle with 7 bronzers or ';black diamond'; tingle 10 with bronzers or ';dangerously darker'; a 5xs amazing bronzer!! Report Abuse

You'll find a load of tanning salons here: http://www.salonsinflorida.com/Category/鈥?/a> Maybe they can recommend a product they use. Good Luck!
I like Almost Famous Triple Action Bronzer. It's the only tanning lotion I have actually bought a bottle of instead of just the tester shot thing. Hope that helps!

Is it customary to give tips in hair salons here in Singapore? How much?

I'm going to have my hair cut in Singapore the first time in a high end salon. I read before that tipping in Singapore is not the norm, but I'm not sure if that's also true for hair salons (especially Passion). Should I give tip to the ';leading stylist';? How about the person who shampooed/dry my hair? If yes, how much should I give? Is it based on percentage?

Thanks. Is it customary to give tips in hair salons here in Singapore? How much?
i'm not sure about singapore, but in hong kong, the norm is to tip yout stylist 10-15%, your shampoo person $2, and the leading stylist or the owner doesn't get a tip (unless they do your hair). i hope this helps!!!

Where can I get the lotion Professional nail salons use when giving a Mani/Pedi?

It's the pink lotion they use. I love that stuff and would kill to have some at home. Thanks!Where can I get the lotion Professional nail salons use when giving a Mani/Pedi?
i think that you might be talking about OPI Aha callus softener. it depends on what product line that they use. but that's my favorite and it's in a pink tube. you should be able to get it from them. or you could call and ask if they have any or can get you some (most salons/spas sell the products that they use.)Where can I get the lotion Professional nail salons use when giving a Mani/Pedi?

  • What kind of wax/brand of wax do salons and professionals use?

Nair? I want to buy a at home waxing kit but Im not sure which one... Nair cold wax? Hot wax? Also is it dangerous to wax if you have fadded stretch marks? What kind of wax/brand of wax do salons and professionals use?
i'm not sure. i was wondering the samething. I've used the sally hanson wax. But that doesn't work very good. And the strips those don't work either.

as for the stretch marks. the wax won't do anything.

How come only Chinese women work at nail salons?

Does anyone know the answer to this?? Anytime I go into a nail salon, all the employees are Chinese. Why is this?Does it have something to do with Chinese culture? How come only Chinese women work at nail salons?
    stereotype much?

ive seen white, black, and asian..even hispanic women working in nail shops. How come only Chinese women work at nail salons?
It's definitely more Vietnamese than Chinese, but if you aren't asian I understand why you wouldn't recognize the difference.

Lots of beauty schools and trade schools offer programs for international students who move to the US.

As far as culture goes, when one family member starts a business or does well at a company they do tend to bring in mostly family members to work there. As one of my Vietnamese clients told me ';You don't have to pay family';. It keeps costs down and keeps the wealth within the family. Something us greedy self-serving Americans might not understand
I don't want to sound stereotypical, but I am not saying anything degrading so i hope I don't offend anyone. But usually they are good at small, intricate details and art, and it pays good and you don't have to speak much Englsih to do that line of work.
    there not chinese

    their usually vietnamese.

my mom owns a nail salon.

i dont kno why. it doesnt have to do with vietnamese culture.

and they usually hire family and friends.
Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean or others.

With little education or little english or other reasons. Easy to learn and good money. This is the only way for them to make proper money, then having low income.
they are naturally good at it. and its realllllyyyy good money lol. besides the owner is usually asian and has other relatives/friends that r employees
because they are good at it and if the owner of the salon is chinese they will probably only hire chinese people
    thats not true hun...

What is the difference between regular salons & aveda salons?

Do they have more experience with haircuts or with more schooling with hair cutting?

thanks for any help! What is the difference between regular salons %26amp; aveda salons?
Its similar to a supercuts and a normal barber/salon. They have the same amount of schooling. They are just trained at Aveda to do things a certain way and use Aveda products. Also they are generally more expensive as the company takes a cut of the profitWhat is the difference between regular salons %26amp; aveda salons?
just the brand name of the salon really

they seem more professional but if it is a business then they should all have experience you know but aveda seems pretty cool.

    http://www.aveda.com/whatsnew/whatsnew.t鈥?/a>
    money; simply money.
they just train with aveda but they are no different than a regular salon and no better
    the aveda name
