I am alergic to the acrylic powder used at salons. Is there any other acrylic powder out there i can use?

The acrylic powder they use at my salon I believe is a very cheap version that has an ingredient in it that I am allergic to. Has anyone tried any other acrylic powders, maybe a more expensive one, that has worked well for them? Thanks in advanced for your answer. I am alergic to the acrylic powder used at salons. well you can get gel nails done, they are a gel that they put on your nail and they bake it in a uv light and you can get it done is most salons i know its not acrylic nails but there all the same thing xI am alergic to the acrylic powder used at salons. i dont know of any other acrylic powders, but your nail tech would know if they existed.





and yes, gel nails are available. the downside is that they're more expensive, it takes longer to get them done, and they are not as strong as acrylic.

Are you talking about for artificial nails? You can get a different kind of nail done professionally. They are called gel nails... they are a little more expensive but they are actually better for your nail and look better too.
